Our Heritage
At Indigenous Mex, our story is woven from a diverse heritage. We are a blend of Mexican and the Stockbridge-Munsee band of Mohican Indians, a federally recognized tribe located in Shawano County, Wisconsin. This unique blend inspires our name and everything we create. The community is the result of a historical union of the Stockbridge-Munsee Community and the Munsee Tribe. It has a rich historical and cultural resilience, including multiple relocations, cultural adaptation, and a deep connection to its ancestral homelands in the Northeast. Today, they are engaged in various tribal enterprises, including governance, gaming, and efforts to reclaim and preserve their culture and ancestral territories. Our Mexican culture is not far removed from indigenous culture, either. Zaragoza is a municipality in the Mexican state of Coahuila known for its natural resources, such as fluoride, silver, and lead. And its economy is based on agriculture, livestock, and industry. The town of Zaragoza is most famous for rainbow trout from the nearby Rio Blanco. Exotic cabuches are a type of flower, pickled and earthy in taste. It is also known for its colossal Basilica del Pilar, its Roman foundation, its cultural diversity, and the approachability of its people.

Our Core Values
Honesty, hard work, respect for everyone. We want to present our heritage so those who don't know about our culture can learn more. Following your dreams is a massive part of who we are. These are the values that drive us at Indigenous Mex. We are committed to creating high-quality products and providing exceptional service while staying true to our beliefs.

Our Creations

"We want you to experience the beauty in everything we create... it takes hours, sometimes even days, to create a beaded item."
